Your own booking page
Commission-free, honest all-in price, mobile-first — the guest pays the hotel.
A booking engine is only worth having if it shares one calendar with the front desk. Bolt a separate widget onto a website and you have bought a second inventory that will eventually sell a room the desk already sold.
The problems owners describe to us — and what StayFlint does about each one.
✕ OTAs keep a cut of the guest who already knew your name and would have booked anyway.
→ Your own booking page with an honest all-in price — the guest pays you, and no commission is charged on any of it.
✕ A bolted-on booking widget keeps its own inventory, and eventually the same room is sold twice.
→ The booking page reads the same availability the front desk reads. There is one calendar, so an overlap is impossible rather than unlikely.
✕ Guests abandon at the last step because taxes and fees appear only at the end.
→ An all-in price shown up front, including tax — the number on the first screen is the number they pay.
✕ No-shows on unpaid direct bookings cost a night.
→ Optional UPI prepay through Razorpay, with the payment posted to the folio so the balance due is always the ledger's answer.
✕ Rate rules — minimum stay, sell windows, closed-to-arrival — live in somebody's head and are applied inconsistently.
→ They are rules on a rate plan, enforced at the moment of booking. A stay that breaks one is refused, with the reason.
Everything below is live today — nothing on this page is a promise for later.
Commission-free, honest all-in price, mobile-first — the guest pays the hotel.
The same availability the front desk uses, so the engine and the desk cannot disagree.
Razorpay prepay posted straight to the folio, so the balance due is the ledger's answer.
Minimum stay, sell windows, closed-to-arrival and allotment — refused at booking, not argued afterwards.
Direct booking is usually sold as a marketing feature. It is really an inventory-integrity feature: the reason a hotel oversells is almost never the front desk, it is a second system that thought it owned the same room. Sharing one calendar removes the category of error rather than reducing it.
The commercial case is simpler. Work out a year of OTA commission on guests who arrived with intent, then compare it to a year of software. For most independent hotels the first number is a multiple of the second — and the OTAs still earn their place bringing the traveller who could not find you.
Short, straight answers — and a person on WhatsApp for the rest.
No. Direct bookings through your own StayFlint page carry zero commission and the guest pays you. The yearly price is the only thing you pay us.
No — it reads the same availability calendar the front desk reads. There is one inventory, so a booking engine and a walk-in cannot claim the same room.
Optionally, by UPI through Razorpay. The payment posts to the folio, so the balance due is always what the ledger says.
Yes. Minimum stay, sell windows, closed-to-arrival and closed-to-departure are rules on a rate plan and are enforced when the booking is made.
Yes — the booking page is mobile-first, which is how the large majority of Indian direct bookings actually arrive.
No call centre and no sales script — you reach the team that writes the software. Tell us your hotel's size and what you run today; we'll tell you honestly whether StayFlint fits.
