Check-in in seconds
Several guests on one phone, ID captured, reg card e-signed — one flow, no photocopier.
The front desk is where a hotel earns its reputation and loses its evening. Everything here is built around one measurement: how long a guest stands at the counter, and how much of the paperwork is finished by the time they walk away.
The problems owners describe to us — and what StayFlint does about each one.
✕ Check-in means a register book, a photocopy and a queue behind it.
→ A phone check-in that takes seconds — a family on one device, ID captured, registration card e-signed, all in one flow.
✕ The registration card, the register and the folio each need the same details typed again.
→ The guest is captured once. The reg card, the Form-F register and the folio are all produced from that single record.
✕ A returning guest is treated as a stranger.
→ Guest Profile 360° — past stays, preferences and logged requests against one guest, visible at check-in.
✕ A group arrives and becomes a dozen separate diary entries.
→ Group and block booking with a master folio, a rooming list and a cut-off, on the same calendar as a single reservation.
✕ Staff are not desktop users and English-only screens turn the desk into one person's job.
→ Hindi voice-first, big tiles, icons, colour and undo on every action — designed for someone with no prior PMS experience.
Everything below is live today — nothing on this page is a promise for later.
Several guests on one phone, ID captured, reg card e-signed — one flow, no photocopier.
Reg card, Form-F register and folio all produced from a single guest record, in Hindi.
Past stays, preferences and requests surfaced at the counter, so a repeat guest is recognised.
New staff can be useful the same day because nothing they do is unrecoverable.
Almost every front-desk problem is a data-entry problem wearing a costume. The queue exists because the same guest is typed three times; the register falls behind because it is a second copy of something already recorded; the reg card is a photocopy of an ID that was already photographed. Capturing the guest once and deriving everything else from that record is what actually shortens the counter.
The second constraint is who is standing behind the desk. The staff app assumes no prior software experience: Hindi voice-first, thumb-sized targets, and undo everywhere, so a new hire is productive on day one rather than after a week of supervision.
Short, straight answers — and a person on WhatsApp for the rest.
Seconds. A family of three goes in on one phone, with each person's details captured, ID recorded and the registration card e-signed in one flow.
Yes — from the same check-in, per guest, printed with the details already filled in and readable in Hindi.
Yes — Hindi voice-first, with a full Hindi and English interface, big tiles and undo on every action.
Yes. Group and block booking holds rooms against a master folio with a rooming list and a cut-off, and the held rooms behave like ordinary reservations everywhere else.
The app still opens and housekeeping updates queue and sync when the connection returns. Check-in, payment and check-out need the connection and say so plainly rather than pretending they saved.
No call centre and no sales script — you reach the team that writes the software. Tell us your hotel's size and what you run today; we'll tell you honestly whether StayFlint fits.
